One-off
Peugeot 201
by Labourdette.

Fabrizio Taiana (I) writes: "I have this 1931 Peugeot 201 with one-off Labourdette body. Would anyone have pictures of this car when new? I know that it was delivered as chassis 22 June 1931 in Paris. In 1952 it was in Indre-et-Loire (France). From 1974 on I have the history (it remained in a private collection from where I bought it). The car, according to Aventure Peugeot was delivered as chassis the 22.6.1931 to Labourdette. I am now tracing the history from 1931 to 1952 when we find the car in Indre et Loire running with a registration number 77X37. In that period city lights were added and mudguards and an external mirror. The car was painted red with black mudguards. In 1974 the car was sold to a collector who painted it bordeaux, with aluminium decoration and he had made a new black top. After detecting the original colour scheme we found under the bordeaux an aqua light green. The 'alloy' decoration was olive green. I suppose that the hood would be brown just like the internal woollen trim. Rims are not original (different size) so I suppose they might be wire wheels painted olive green with tyres Michelin 12x45." Responses to [email protected]
