A Stellin- Stelline-Shell connection?

The above picture (!) comes from a postcard issued, during the 1905 Berlin car exhibition, by petrol supplier Stellin from the Vereinigte Benzinfabriken G.M.B.H. Bremen.
If you study Stellin’s logo  its hard to deny they were related to the French petrol brand Stelline, owned by Societé Colombes who was many summers later absorbed by the Total group.
There does not seem to be a link with the Shell owned brand of Stellin from the Rhenania works. 
Or was there a link ?  Who can throw any light on this matter ?


P.S. talking about Bremen. Last weekend's show was a massive succes with over 20% more visitors than last year. We had a nice PreWarCar set-up and there is a good chance that the 2014 edition will see a larg PreWarPlaza with several specialists, dealers and other prewar related participants
