The first big show of the year, InterClassics Maastricht,  is coming close where the PreWarCar.com - PostWarClassic.com team will be present again. When we started looking for a car to have on our booth, one would expect that we would start in the Concours section in our marketplace, but no. We wanted something really spectacular and found an absolute fantastic Amilcar for sale at Castricum Collector Cars. 

Earlier this year we had the pleasure of seeing this car when it was participating in the Oily Rag run and were amazed by how original it is. Even the tires seem to be the original ones (the air inside however was new).
The car is a 1928 Amilcar M Type Weymann Saloon with only 6463 km driven since new. It was used as a demo car for a French dealer but due to some problems with the door on the driver's side, the car hasn't been used that much.
As far as we know, only 3 of this type are left and we believe one in this condition is especially rare. And we sure like it!
