We received several comments with respect to quiz #288 . Both from Vincent Jolivel and from jurymember Reg Harris. They claimed that the car is in fact a 10 CV and not a 15 CV. The number of louvre doors is not the way to differentiate. Various 10CV models have the five louvre doors as well. The only way to differentiate is to measure the panel width between the louvred doors. Vincent Juvelle made a schematic explanation. With the 10 CV models the louvre doors are much close to each other. With the 15 CV the louvre doors leave a space between them as wide as the doors themselves. (check here ). This may affect the outcome of Quiz #288. As almost all competitors claimed 15CV it does not help a lot. But Craig Gillingham wrote in his answer: "Going by the lenght of the bonnet something like 10CV or 15 CV ?" In this way, he was the only competitor who expressed a doubt about the car being a 15cv. We think Mr. Gillingham deserves the prize as well. Thank you all for teaching us a bit more about these complex series of Citroën!
