Once, way back in the sixties, we built a 1936 Ford V8 scale model from a kit by Monogram. Ever since this has been one of our favorite models because of its good looks and healthy V8. In the real world these Fords were quite successful too. Just think of the Romanian winners of the 1936 Rally de Monte Carlo and again in 1938 by a Dutch team. All these memories jumped to mind when we saw this V8 Tudor deluxe at Castricum Collector Cars. Imagine driving it in the 100 Miles of Amsterdam! We would love to try driving this one at night, just enjoying the sound of that flathead. But you can try and beat us to it. Don’t worry about being too late to register for the 100 Miles...
