Roars of thunder over Schloss Dyck

It took weeks and weeks of careful planning and lots of work, but again the Classic Days at Schloss Dyck, held early August in Germany, proved to be a grandiose event. Nearly 40.000 visitors ogled the fantastic bodies in the concours or watched the racing. There was an accident (youtube.com) during the post-war Monoposto race, that looked nasty at first, but the drivers involved were quickly dismissed from the hospital. The concours was held in the beautiful gardens of the castle. Our favourites were this pair of Swallows, the attractive Panhard and this good-looking RR. Be sure not to miss next year’s action!
