You may remember Ron Dowle. He won last autumn's photo/painting contest. So he received the painting of his Clemons Graphite Special, based on a b&w photo that was earlier on display here. The artist Andy King of CarsArt.com even succeeded to restore the cigartip of the body earlier than Ron himself. To take away his terrible grief Ron's wife bought him a vintage replica of the Golden Arrow record car that is one of the subjects of this year's Rétromobile exhibition The Year of the Records.
