Speed Records of many Entries in Light-Car Derby

We found this fun article called Speed Records of Many Entries in Light-Car Derby in the magazine Popular Science Monthly from February 1922. It is not very long, but we hope you enjoy the photograph (click to enlarge) with caption it as much as we did.

“With amazing speed that thrilled the greatest crowd ever in attendance at the Brooklands speedway in England, 72 of the world`s smallest racing-cars recently justified England`s growing interest in the small, economical, yet powerful cycle-car. The photograph shows the little speedsters lined up for the starting-gun of the 200-mile contest.”
