'Still crazy after all these years.'

Some ten years ago C. found this 1927 Darmont Speciale with the twin magneto Blackburn modified and tuned by Robert Darmont, a vintage "EVO II" engine... He agreed to buy the car, but when he came to pick it up, both seller and car had vanished. Since then the car was only in his dreams until by sheer coincidence he stumbled over it last Christmas! Of course he bought the car on the spot! Only two weeks ago he finally could take his prey back home to park it safely in his garage... As needed a mechanical overhaul will be done, but the dreamlike patina will stay with the car as long as it stays with Christophe. (photo C. Mouchoux; click for more detail on engine.
