Great cornering realised by 'Arthur' the rolling project-builder-barnfind that is in daily(?) use by Mike Worthington Williams, UK's top-notch veteran & vintage scribe. Possibly his pen rested for a moment when PreWarCar's Beaulieu correspondent Bas de Voogd caught up with the car near a carwash that was hastely closed when 'Arthur' came into sight. The big Austin leaped away and no matter how hard Bas stepped on the right pedal of his '03 VW W-18 Phaeton he didn't succeed to pass the powersliding 'Ancient but Active' British product.
