The best-known D-Day
On the 6th of June 1944, Allied troops invaded the beaches of Normandy, France in Operation Overlord. It was the largest amphibious assault in world history that laid the foundations for the liberation of Western Europe from Nazi Germany.
On this historically important day, some impressive military vehicles. This video shows last year’s 75th anniversary of the best-known D-Day.

Worth remembering also is that last year at the 75th anniversary more than 400 veterans participated. Pretty amazing as the youngest would be 92-93 years old. We salute you!
