A crowd of honourable car cracks gathered last weekend at the Country Club of (Canton, Ohio, US) to give their opinion on a very-very nice selection of significant automobiles. When you study the wonderful cars which showed up, chances were there that it would become a 'low roof event'. Check the 1932 Daimler Double Six saloon by Gurney Nutting. And don't overlook the equally impressive & superlow 1932 Bucciali TAV 12 Sedan by Saoutchik. But no, the jury did not let seduce themselves by the obvious winners. Not even by the Vargas like Glenmoor Glamour Girl (when you are over 80, you better don't check Hildebrandt's American Beauties). As said the jury kept their nerves and choose as most significant car this 1914 Locomobile 38 Berline. Far from a low roof, a highly remarkable automobile. We agree fullheartedly. Only few people are aware of the fact that very significant saloon's of that era are very, very scarce and the owners should be rewarded for preserving those.
