This is not really a mystery. Bruno Costers stumbled over this derelict garage in Knokke, a famous beach resort of Belgium. The street name is Piers de Raveschootlaan. We are not even sure this was a Minerva dealership. Maybe it is just a garage named after the goddess Minerva. Anybody out there who has a list of Minerva dealer addresses? An maybe a few other addresses are still in existence? For sure here was a dealership in the modern times of
1930 Knokke.

UPDATE by Philippe Boval (B):"From the 1931 listings you can find there was for sure no Minerva dealer in Knokke, there were in (Belgium) Antwerpen, Brugge, Bruxelles, Charleroi, Kortijk, Gent, Hasselt, La Louvière, Liege, Luxemburg (Grand Duchesse), Bergen, Namen, Ronse, Doornik and Ieper. A still existing Minerva building is the current Hotel Chambord, Naamsestraat, Bruxelles. As far as i know there are no toher surviving Minerva garages or showrooms. I live near a former Minerva agency in Kortrijk that was run by Georges Lintermans, but I am not sure if the current building (Rue de la Métarie) was there before the war. I hope to hear of any other surviving Minerva buildings...' [email protected]
