The List.

We have no special reason to push this symphatetic Austin Harley saloon which is looking for a new boss (click to take a seat). The photos alone almost make your editor jump into the car and spend the last Euros needed for wife, children and our house... Like all advertised cars it is in perfect condition, nothing special about that.. ;-) There also is this list. Many advertised cars come with a list. Some lists are lousy, some lists are good. This one is of the second category. It will learn you more about the car and previous owners then any seller can communicate. When you do not understand what we mean after checking the list, you should look for a new hobby, So, seatbelts on? Here we go. 1/Brochure of the New Austin Twelve/Six (presumably 1929) 2/Color brochure of all Austin types of 1931. 3/Owners manual of the Twelve-Six. 4/(official) List of Spareparts 5/Pricelist of Spareparts. 6/Schedule of Charges for Repairs. 7/ Austin “twelve-six” lubrication simply explained. 8/Lubrication Scheme 9/The Motorist Legal Guide, 1931 10/The Automobile Association Handbook 1931 11/The original test of this car in The Motor (What The Motor thinks about it). 12/Working description and hints on fitting and adjusting “U” type Zenith carburetters 13/Lucas Spare Parts Austin 12 HP. 6 cyl. (twelve six) Model 1931 14/All old insurance tags. 15/Post-war registration for fuel rationing. 16/Diverse letters by heirs of first and later owners about the history of the car.
