Last week we showed you a little Rosengart and asked if it was still around. It is! Nico Claerhout from Belgium wrote: “That's my car, that is Tipothé! Amazing! Tipothé was the name given by Alain Depière, the man who drove it! And now I'm the owner. I'm in contact with the sister of Mr. Depière who lives in Germany. She told me how much fun it was to drive along the Ostend roads, roof down, everybody watching the black/yellow car. As far as I could reconstruct the story, Tipothé was partly dismantled, in order to restore it, around 1975. Included a picture of the car as found and when arriving at my home. The 1934 Rosengart needs some restoration, some minor things are already done, but time and other projects force me not to mention a date to get on the road again.”
