The original is waiting for you in Titanic's belly.

This 1912 Renault Type CB Coupe de Ville is an original. Yet in terms of cosmetics it is a replica of the car that is at the bottom of the northern Atlantic. Love it or hate it, it has been restyled, repainted and retrimmed to give a perfect match with the Renault as it went on board Titanic 100 years ago. For accuracy served detailed 1912 files by Lloyd's , the insurance claim of the surviving owner was US$ 5000. The look-a-like was sold by RM Auctions in Arizona, 2008 at US $ 296,500 , see full description.
You can take an amazing illustrated tour at the Titanic at National Geographic. But be aware of the fact that the real original now will look slightly different after some 36,500 days of preservation in fresh seawater.
A large collection Titanic remains and relics is expected to bring more than US$ 100,000,000 this weekend. Can you imagine what the remains of the Renault would bring...
