The Trenk family Hudson (UPDATE : modern shifter)

The two photos supplied are of a 1935 Hudson model GH Super Six which was left over on the used car lot when WW-2 ended new car supplies and the business was closed. I drove this car through the war years up to 1948. Sold off when it had 140,000 miles, never overhauled, original "wet" cork button clutch, all running normally. That's me under the hood. Visible in the dash center is one of the early Philco Car radios which had the antenna under the running board."
