Three Musketeers er... Rapiers heading North.

Bernie Jacobson reports from Australia:"...three Lagonda Rapiers seen here about to be packed into a 40ft container. The first event we attend will be Patrick Rollet's popular Fougeres Rally where this year's 'Featured Marque' will be the Lagonda Rapier as these cars are celebrating their 75th anniversary this year. The cars from right to left of photo (click mainphoto) are Bruce Rodgers Bertelli bodied 1936 Rapier (this the only Rapier ever to be fitted with a body by Bertelli; usually associated with pre-war Aston Martins). (second car is) Ted Geermans with his 1934 Lagonda Rapier with an Australian built extremely elegant two seater roadster body and my own 1934 Lagonda with a Eagle two seater (replica) body. Other events scheduled are the Chanteloup les Vignes (oldest hillclimb in the world: 1898) and the Rapier Register European Tour taking in parts of the Netherlands, Germany and Northern France before going to the U.K. for the Rapier Register AGM at Brooklands and the VSCC 75th Anniversary events at Malvern during the first week of August.
