Mondays are a good time to clear out your attic, you’ll never know what treasures you’re going to find. No one knows this better than Nico Claerhout. A few weeks ago he asked our help in identifying a mr. Maurice Wanson from Brussels, who was a passenger in a bus full of people on a visit to Berlin. No reply came, but in the meantime Nico found out the answer all by himself! While cleaning the attic of his house he unearthed both a catalogue with the name of Maurice Wanson on it together with an early picture of the man posing in his mud-splattered automobile. According to the catalogue Maurice Wanson was involved in providing odds and ends to both the automobile and general industry. One problem solved, but now we are curious to know what kind of car Mr. Wanson is driving. Can you tell us ?
Update II by John Hearne who confirms it's a Darracq: "Some of the frontal features that tie up are the distinctive curve of both the front axle and track rod which would date it to the very early 1900's. Also the outside distributor and the pattern of the chassis frame and wheels."
Update I: Hal Fillinger thinks it's a Darraq.
