A Monday morning movie mystery? (update: photographer's prop car)

This interesting brass era or edwardian speedster if you prefer that nomenclature, was spotted by Tom Laferriere at the recent Hershey show. He nearly managed to buy it, but we guess somebody else made a better offer. Anyway, Tom wonders was it a movie prop perhaps?  The chassis is wood, the fueltank is good for luggage but not for liquids. Anybody who knows or remembers?
