Ross Turner bought himself a big 1936 Bentley Limousine in the late sixties. He threw away most of the coachwork and let made a very nice roadster body instead. Under the bonnet he started all over again. He drilled, balanced and lightened whatever he found down there. And to complete things he added two compressors. It Turned out that this is the way to make a sluggish Bentley go. Ross made the fastest Silverstoen lap in 1970 among a list of other trophy's. Listen to Turner's Symphony (118KB and probably not fit for Mac) or click the pic for a very nice gallery on this car. Sorry, she's not for sale. (photo & sound © 2001, V3D/ ClassicarImages.
