Two speedsters off to Pebble Beach (Upd. opposing opinions)

What to do with two bare Rolls Royce chassis you have lingering about in the shed for more than thirty years? After some thinking Gary Wales finally decided he would turn them into two identical speedsters. It took a bit of work but the two cars are now for all intents and purposes finished with the exception of the floor covering and adding the leather around the cockpit. When that is done Gary will be ready to leave for Pebble Beach!

I couldn't agree more, number 2. I wonder what the chassis numbers are so that we can hold some sort of requiem.

Great cars! What a great job making these Antiques run. Great paint job but I wish one had been painted pink because my girlfriend just loves pink!

Sorry but these things are just hideous! All of that work to make two utterly tasteless, awkward, badly proportioned and gaudy monsters. What a terrible waste of skills, money and enthusiasm but Pebble Beach is just the place for them..only there could such horrors be regarded as in any way "acceptable". A dreadful waste of two chassis.
