We were friendly corrected by Baron A. Labitte de Montripier; 'It is not a Darmont Special, which had an overhead valves engine, copy of the British Blackburne, and was presented at the time of the 1928 Salon. The Rétromobile car has got a side valve engine, copy of the British Jap with a rather important adaptation, and the pointed body of the Darmont Special ; this engine is fully water-cooled. If it were an air cooled engine, it could be an Etoile de France, produced from 1930 onwards.'(photo by editor)
