Thank you all for sending your comments. You all agreed that it is a Ford Roadster. Some of you doubted between 1933 or 34, but not anybody claimed 1933. Some of you are convinced it is a 1934 based on shape of bonnet louvres and hood handles at lower corners of hood. The only thing you don't seem to agree upon whether it's a V8 or not.
Sed Pearce wrote: "Without seeing the hubcap, it's hard to say if it was a V8 Model 40, or a 4 cylinder Model C. It's probably a V8, as most roadsters were. The car should have 17 inch wheels. The 1935 also had metal spoked wheels, but they were 16 inch. It isn't a 1933, as in that year the bonnet (hood) louvers would have been curved, a la Duesenberg Model J."
Anyone who can tell for sure?
EARLIER TEXT:
One of our readers did send this vague photo, hoping we could identify this early roadster. We rather have just a tiny little bit more quality in our photos, but we liked this one for several reasons. The James Dean look-a-like with his fifties beauty. And of course the interesting roadster in the background. have a look at the enlarged photo and enlighten us with your knowledge through [email protected]. (anonymous photographer)
