End of holidays in Luxembourg

Paul Linster visited the 'Randonnée de la Fin des Vacances 2012' of the VCCGD in Luxembourg and reports: "The 2012 edition was a dream. Participants from Belgium, France, Great Britain, Switzerland and Luxembourg.  cars: Stoddard Dayton(photo below R), Citroen, Overland Whippet, Chenard Walker, Packard, Morgan, BSA, Daimler, MG SA, Hotchkiss and last but not least a Delahaye racer were in the starting field.
Stressless driving to the chateau of Wiltz with a visit of the beer museum (with 'dégustation = tasting' of course) brought us to a rural museum where a horse carriage made some of us discover the sensation of speed. After a visit tp one of the major pump storage stations of Europe near Vianden we reached 'Hotel Dahm' in Erpeldange, our head quarter and enjoyed a fantastic gala dinner.
Sunday morning our ladies had the big surprise to be carried in the immaculate Saurer bus of our member Leo and the Champagne was offered by Leo's wife Alix. Leo, the only male person onboard is a gentleman and remains silent of course..., but the mood must be have been excellent. During this time the gentlemen had the opportunity to visit a museum in construction of rural technology,- a discovery (see the nice little tractor below). A very unhurried week end."
