Vintage sports cars at the 60th birthday of Circuit Zandvoort.

Coming weekend the 60th birthday of THE Dutch car circuit will be celebrated : Zandvoort. The history of Zandvoort racing is in fact going back a few years more. The very first race was held at a roadtrack June 7, 1939. The race was a success, but plans for a real circuit in the dunes near the sea had to be postponed and became reality only in 1948. Most cars which appeared back in 1948 were prewar anyway. That's also the reason why the Dutch Vintage Sportscar Club will fill in the best part of the birthday program. Lots of very interesting cars will show up and let hear themselves. Including several cars from the the UK sister organisation VSCC.
