War time post card: is that a Brescia? UPDATE: It's not

Reader Gerard Lansink regaled us with the two cards seen here. And they come with some lovely memories also. He wrote: "It must have been late June or early july in 1979 or 1980 that we visited the circuit of Linas-Montlhery with our two children. We had put our tent up on a football field close-by, but it was  just outside the track where I bought a couple of post cards on a little sales stand. Among them the two cards seen here.

They were never used and sold as 'old stock'. Because we'd just seen similar (cycle)cars on the circuit I decided to buy the one with the car (a Brescia?).

During the races we attended cars as well as motor bikes could be seen on the circuit. There were lots of French cyclecars, but I also remember a Dutch gentleman on a Norton 500, who had troubles finding his way on the banking where he was forced to drive in between the pilons. He skid his bike and fell rather hard. He seemed to be okay, but I recall his Norton wasn't. It had a major crack in its aluminium tank of some 10 centimeters, all of the petrol dripped out. Dripped rather then gushed, since the tank had been filled with foam due to safety regulations."

That's a great memory Gerard. Perhaps somebody will be able to tell more about the picture seen on the post card, bought by Gerard all those years ago?

UPDATE: Not a Brescia and not a Bugatti, you say. Reader A. Bos believes it to be a 1914 Daracq. Thank you!

The car is a 1914 Darracq and indeed a photographer's car, featuring on many photographs of the battlefields in the North of France during the first years of the war.

Can't be a Brescia as the race after which the T13 Bugattis was named was not run until after the war! However, it might be an earlier 8 valve Bugatti which was manufactured prior to 1914.

Not a Brescia, not even a Bugatti imho.
Because the bottom of radiator is straight.
Possibly the photographers' car ?
