Weird Wednesday: La Fritte

Did you ever wonder where the French Fries were invented? Various sources do very different claimes (check this well fried history). Yet one thing is sure, the megasize French Fry depicted was cooked to order by the Fiat chefs in Torino to please the appetite of a Belgian Fiat dealer in Ostende. When new this 509 Monza had a livery of pale gray with maroon upper section on the sides of the car. Somewhere in racing history (the car never left Belgium since 1926) was decided to change the colour to the Belgian Racing Yellow. A colour which fits smilingly well with the mouthwatering shape of the staggered seat body. Thinking of that, what would be the drag coefficient of a French fry? (photos and info Marreyt Classics)
