These rare makes of car just come and go. We welcome those, just to do a sale announcement. Like with this 1919 Belsize. Made in Manchester, UK, it never left the British 'continent'. The make existed from 1901 to 1926 and was a quality competitor to Rolls Royce. To buy this car it would have cost somewhere around 50 pounds less than a RR with the same level of equipment. The price of £595 included an electric self start, dynamo, lighting set, head, side and tail lamps, horn, speedometer, clock, fifth wheel and tyre, hood, side curtains, wind screen and tool kit, including jack, tyre pump, petrol funnel and all necessary tools ready for the road.
.... And then they are sold and gone. That's why we try to locate links on all makes that come along. Doing so you will not find a Belsize Owners Club... But we did find this short description(K.R.Baker's pages) and a vintage photo at Crowfield-village.com
