“There’s still surprises out the back o’ Bourke” is an Australian expression meaning there’s always something new to be found in the middle of nowhere. And it’s true as we found out ourselves. Several years back we made an extended trip through the Australian Outback and were surprised at the quantity (and quality) of abandoned vintage tin. We thought we were in Spare Parts Heaven and immediately started to build our own prewar-car. Click for the final result. Unfortunately we couldn’t take our car home with us and what’s even worse: we forgot what make it was. So, it’s up to you to find out. But one warning… look at the date!
