We’ve really found an obscure automobile for you to chew on this weekend. This one never went in production and the prototype on this photo is the only one known. It was named after both its designer and the financial backer. It was/is an unusual car that has an 8-stroke, 4-cilinder horizontal engine, giving a detonation in each of the four cylinders every fourth turn. It was said to need no oil or water. Maybe this was the reason the design went no further than one prototype? However, this one still exists, was discovered in the 1940s in a barn and only recently restored. In order to win the famous PreWarCar T-shirt tell us the make, the year and of course everything else you know of this curious automobile. But do so within the rules, please check Read More. And do use our Contact Form before Monday, February 1st. Have a nice weekend! (Photo source to be disclosed next week).
