She is posing with her veteran, and probably the car is owned by the photographer who most probably will take the wheel after this. But at the same time the look in her eyes makes us hesitate. Maybe it is not him but her owning the car, and that not he but she is the driver. And then the coat, is it hers or his? It's all up to you. I suspect the lack of responses to this weeks picture is a matter of individual countries humour, what may be funny to an englishman is possibly not understood by others, take for example last weeks offering , I for one did not appreciate the winning answer, but as you said its your choice, & we have to respect that.

I must steady myself by holding on to his car. The site of such a magnificent Thornton Picard equipped with that huge rectilinear lens is more than a woman can stand. If only he would handle me in the same delicate fashion that he focuses that camera!

She's thinking : watch the bird ? watch the bird ? He only gave me his coat... how many pictures will it take before...
(picture is indeed one of a series as you can see a number written on the chassis. I found also another series with an other car with french numberplate 487EE. It seems La vie de l'auto once wrote an article about this last car. I don't know what the article mentioned. Was it the same photographer who bought another car ? Surely he was a lot on the road.

This is not a studio picture, but certainly appears to be a posed shot.
But note, a motor vehicle was always an object to be photographed with, even today.
And a line: "When I am reborn, I will pose in a bikini and with a Ferrari, hopefully they would have been invented by then"
