Winter comes, winter goes.... (UPDATE)

Update by Kit Foster: "...quite sure it is a Model F Stanley, the 20 hp touring car built 1905-08. The body mouldings are all in the proper place, the top (hood) irons are of the right pattern, and the distinctive clue is the diagonal brace rod, just visible, from the bottom of the differential to the hub on each side. The differential looks huge because it has the engine attached to the front of it, another clue."

EARLIER TEXT: Now the days are getting more gray every day here on the northern hemispere it is time to concentrate more on the stories and photos form the tropical area and the south. So don't take this as a hint but as a loud call for old photos, old stories & old mysteries from the South. Please send to [email protected] or Postbox 99167, 1120 MD, Amstelveen, Netherlands. here shown a Sunday's ride on a Papmpas grass bordered road in Argentine? Nope, California. Click the photo for more detail but there's not enough to ID the car we think. (PC Horwitz Collection)
