Twenty-two year old Chris Haas from Germany is now a happy, young PreWarCar enthusiast. Last week his 1933 Citroen 8A Coach SICAL sailed past its first TüV (the German MoT or official technical inspection). To reach the TüV office, Chris decided to cross the River Rhine by ferry instead of using the Autobahn as Rosalie’s engine only had about 120km since its rebuilt. Chris’ father followed in his 1954 Citroen Traction Avant 11CV, just in case. Nothing went wrong as can be expected from a Rosalie with an illustrious history with the F.F.I. (the French Forces of the Interior). Congratulations on a restoration well-done, Chris. We wish you many happy miles. (RB)
