Another photograph from the collection of Vlad Capotescu. This one was taken in Britain in 1929 and shows the Royal Family of Romania: Queen Mary of Romania (on the left, with hat) together with Principess Ileana, (in the middle, without hat). Far right (also with hat) Queen Mary’s sister, the Duchess Cyril, from the British Royal family. The boy near the Amilcar, who doesn’t seem too interested, is no one else than the future king of Romania Mihai I, son of Carol II. That little boy is now over eighty years old and lives in Switzerland. (RB)
