1937 TALBOT 110 / 105 SPECIAL
Registration: DYE 64
First registered in May 1937 as a Talbot 110 Saloon, bought in 2004 by current owner as a “rolling Chassis”. Subsequently rebuilt over a period of several years as a Sporting Talbot 2 seat special.
The original 110 chassis was shortened to 9 foot and a completely new 2-seater body built utilising aluminium skin over steel framework by Vintage Cars in Hampshire. Finished and trimmed to a high level and still maintained in very good condition.
The body incorporates a large rear stowage area along with full weather equipment making her a very suitable car for long distance touring or Rally events.
The 105 Engine fitted was rebuilt A.Archer 2013/4 and has had limited use since. The Pre-selector Gearbox was rebuilt by Schumacher Racing 2017 and most recently the car has been maintained by Pace Historics with new King Pins fitted in 2026.
There is a substantial history file including pictures of the original build and subsequent work completed.
Currently registered in Jersey but original GB Registration is available.
